The Morris Family

I took these photos for one of my colleagues of her children and her nieces and nephews.  They were troopers on such a chilly November day, but I think despite the cold they were quite photogenic!

Family Photos in the Park

I know this is my own family, but I enjoyed taking some photos of my husband and little girl this weekend. I think they are quite precious!

Kim and Doug

June 28, 2008

Kim and Doug were married this past weekend at the Inn at Vent Hill in Warrenton, VA. They were wonderful to take pictures for. My husband and I, who always work together at these types of events, really enjoyed spending time with the couple taking their photos just after the ceremony. The Inn offered a lot of ambient lighting as well for afterwards when the reception started. We hope to do business with them again soon!

Miller and Whitney Family Photos

I took pictures for the Millers and Whitneys this week. The two families are cousins who come to spend every summer together in Virginia. We had a lot of fun taking group and individual photos of the kids towards the end of the day. The sun was low in the sky and we were able to get some wonderful shots in my opinion. I love doing family photos, and I appreciate the opportunity I had to take pictures of these guys... all eleven of them:)

This is Lacy, one of the youngest of the bunch. I loved these photos I got of her. Children are such fun subjects.

This is the entire Whitney family, minus their dad who was not yet in town. We figured we'd photoshop him in at some later point.

This is the entire Miller family, minus their dad. He was also gone on business, but in Singapore. So it would have been a bit difficult getting him in. I don't have a wide angle lens big enough to stretch to the opposite end of the earth.

The Millers and Whitneys made great subjects. I hope they treasure these pictures and the memories of summers in Virginia for many years to come.
